My connection to Hall Barnett Gallery is really special. While writing my review, I spoke on the phone with gallery director Holly Barnett, who has the most wonderful energy about her. She cares so deeply about the history and legacy of Hall Barnett Gallery, and for fostering the careers of both emerging and established artists. When my father visited New Orleans on business he stopped by the gallery I was raving about, and brought me a lovely present– a work of art by Hall Barnett artist Merrilee Challis.
