Specters of Queer Trauma in ‘Nosferatu, The Vampyr’ (HowlRound Theatre Commons)

This month, I published an essay on HowlRound Theatre Commons about ‘Nosferatu, The Vampyr,’ a queer adaptation of the classic vampire tale. In this essay, I explore how the play subverts queerphobic and anti-Semitic caricatures, and examine the significance of this subversion during a global pandemic.

You can read the essay, and watch the staged, virtual reading of ‘Nosferatu, The Vampyr,’ here.
